For some reason, I GOOGLED myself today . . . but instead of looking at the websites, etc., I clicked "Images."
For the most part, I loved the order of the images . . . and I'm TOTALLY happy about my First Amendment rating "E" for Everyone image. (That's found on my Active Rain Profile page).
A lot of the images are from my blogs, and the photos I took, and pics of me . . . (aghh).
Virgo & Pisces, for example, is a nice Active Rain Localism feature I did. Seeing this made sense.
I have no idea how the order is calculated, or what image gets Google Juiced to tag along with my name. But, it's kinda fun to see old posts, people. I have a unique name. I doubt there's another "Carla Muss-Jacobs" so it's a good image search.
So far my name is associated with the following images (among others): Kermit the Frog, Corona Beer, Virgo & Pisces, a map of Florida, Judi Bennett, Pangea, Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, Betty Boop, Candice's "Feed Your Head" logo, C Tann-Star's original artwork, a lot of TASTY looking food, drug paraphernalia, a few Broker Byrant pics, Rep. Joe Wilson, Nicholas Cage's house for sale in Beverly Hills, Richard Wesser . . . and there's a TON OF PEOPLE, PLACES and THINGS . . . which I have no clue who they are, and how they got under my image.
Maybe I commented on their blog posts? Maybe they commented on mine? It's weird.

Hi Michelle -- Yeah, it's difficult for John Smith's . . . and Michelle Gibson. If you're married, maybe hyphenate with your maiden name and TOTALLY mess up your last name, like I did. It'll be unique that way ;-)

Alas, mine was kinda boring since I have an unusual name and I use the word 'image' in a lot of my posts. Mostly just various blog posts.
Do you think those people are popping up because they "illegally" got hold your images and used them? Interesting!
Mine came up with my photos, and some cats, and June Piper Brandon from here on AR. I'd never thought to check this out....thanks for sharing! That was fun!

Ok - that was fun. It's great to see all those other Elizabeth Boltons whose name pops up on google - great to put a face with my name! There was the rabbi, the doctor, the teenager, even the EB of the 1800s. And I was on the second row - me - plus a bunch of my blog photos.
I did it... and it was interesting. I saw some pictures I posted on sites, that I totally forgot about!
Oh, this is too cool! Let's see what we can do with this ... it's fun!

That was interesting. At least all the other "Dianne Bartletts" are pretty straight-laced. One of them is even a nun! The rest of the images were pictures of my listings.

Cute! My NINJA coach searched my name in front of the class one day and there were all sorts of images that I had no idea how I became associated with them--I'd never even SEEN them before! I forgot to go back and check it out but, thanks for the reminder to do that!!

Carla, I've done the same, and I get photos I've added to my localism posts, as well as photos associated with comments I made on other posts. I also get things that have nothing to do with me. :)
I just looked at mine...interesting. I think it is because we've commented or something. In any case..what a bunch there were!

I tried my name and many of my photos came up, but then there were several photos with a Sharon and a Tara in them...to be expected!

Hi Sharon . . . sometimes if you use "name" quotes you can get a defined search. I don't know why I do it, but sometimes it's just fun!
