While web surfing this afternoon, the wave took me to Psychology Today, and a very funny article written by Dr. Ken Eisold.
On June 30, 2010 Dr. Eisold wrote a blog on Psychology Today entitled: "Banksters: How Can We Demystify Bankers"
HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA
Yes, let's "demystify" them . . . oh those silly banker folk. All we need to do is understand them and "demystify" them. Then . . . we'll all have balance restored, and HAVE OUR POWER again. We'll be able to CONTROL OUR DESTINIES!
In fact, to quote Dr. Eisold:
- "Most of us who approach bankers -- or even lowly 'loan officers' . . . " LOWLY LOAN OFFICERS!?! WOW -- this doc really knows how to demystify.
- "And because in my mind, at least, it echoes with "prankster," it makes them also a little silly. That helps to undermine the intimidation." And now you know why I'm giving Dr. Eisold the coveted award.
- "Anything that restores the balance, that minimizes our perception of their omniscience and increases the power of our own judgment, gives us more of an advantage in this unequal struggle." Yeah, that's really gonna help when the Sheriff arrives to escort you out of your home due to those silly "pranksters" foreclosing.
It was the most charming piss piece of DRIBBLE I have read in quite a while by such a learned man. A psychologist, no less. He writes as if his audience are a bunch of 3rd graders.
And talk about your FREUDIAN SLIPS!! I had written "It was the most charming piss ..." before realizing my typo. I left it in. Sigmund would be proud!
The WORST bankster heists in our lifetimes, dude has a BLOG on PSYCHOLOGY TODAY, and all he can come up with is this?!? Milquetoast at best.
Americans are reeling with anxiety, depression, sleepless nights, worry, fatique. Marriages and relationships are on the fray. Children are uprooted from neighborhoods, displaced from schools, their friends . . . how about doing a real study on the mental health issues that have manifested in our society, to our family, to our neighbors, to our friends . . . to ourselves . . . in the past 2 years!?!

I do agree with one point he made "skepticism is helpful", especially when reading an article by an out of touch psychoanalyst......also, who would trust a guy whos book is called "what you don't know you know" ....what the heck does that even mean?? jay
Hi Jay . . . LOL -- I didn't even see the book title. But obviously Jay, you don't know what you do know, and you need Dr. Eisold to tell you what you know. It's people like you who need to buy that book!! :-)

We know that bankers are interested in making lots of money off you and me irregardless of the consequences. What else do we need to know?

Carla...I just found this statement SO interesting...a new conspiracy at work for me! Further decline in the cohesiveness of the American family. A rise in the welfare state...a greater chasm between rich and poor. Oh, there are so many implications that will play themselves out going forward if we don't get back into control of this situation.
