Congress is at it again -- trying to take away more of our freedoms. Let's contact our Senators and let them know what we think of the DISCLOSE Act. Is it fair to have a two tiered system of freedom of speech? Aren't we all guaranteed the right to freedom of speech? Not according to this administration. Our voices need to be heard. I know I'm going to take action. If I don't now, when? If you don't now, when?

The US Chamber of Commerce has this totally backwards. The real enemy to free speach is "corporate personhood" and the Federal Election Commission Vs. Citizens United case recently decided by the Supreme Court. This is a really bad decision that will have a major impact on fair elections going forward.

Carla, thanks for re-blogging. It is a very confusing issue. I disagree with Art #3 above. Congress' knee jerk reaction to the Supreme Court's decision again shows how they continually disregard and disrepect the US Constitution. The Dems' leader himself has said it's a flawed document. I wonder, Art, how are corporations the enemy of free speech?
